Whats there in the name ?

While reading a blog from a person ..who i always feel writes very well .. this question..whats there in the name popped up ?

The story written was good from the point of view of a writer .. but the name of the character .... did make this sound " ting " . . It was my intuition or what i dont know ... but as i got introduced to the first character's name, i knew that the name would appear .. and just after reading few lines in the story, it did ..

I know its nothing to do with a person, its just the name that been used and there are thousands and thousands of the people who have the same name. Its just a work of art " fiction" as they say ...

When the justification in the name of art was given, something else started to talk ...
Oh are u really so open minded that u could let it go.. if so ? then why the ting in the first place ? why couldnt you read it normally ....whats there in the name ?

Do we associate with the people through the names .. or we start identifying them with the name ...name brings many things .. some bring sweet memories and smile while others bitter experiences .. but those feelings are not because of the name but they are or they were because of the person .. so who matters the person or the name ?

One good thing that came out of all this is .. It atleast provoked me to write this blog ..and in the process of writing .. many things became clear ..

It might stop me from doing certain things in future.. .coz it was used in the way as it was...."horrified depicition though it was fiction " ..

Again the same voice, Oh really ? what if it was just used beautifully in some poetry .. the person who seem affected and horrified by the visions that he got while reading .... would still feel the same ? or will be lost in the romantic world created by the words used by the poet...

Why is it that reading something pleasant .. makes one happy but reading something harsh affects them .. One has to rise above such things ..

Its all about perception ....In this case its not even the person its a character thats build up in the story telling and after all its just a name .. but this name is so close and dear ...

Anyways these are just the thoughts that are running in my mind at this time .. dont know what the consequences will be ..

But one thing thats learnt is dont take things seriously when they are not ...one thought here and there is fine .. take it easy and enjoy the work ...whats there in the name ??? Its just a name afterall ..
